ELV
ELV is one of Germany's popular online payment methods. It allows quick and easy payments, is relatively cheap (compared to credit cards), and suited for one-time payments (immediate payment and swift settlement) without the need to use a card upon checkout. |
To find out how to integrate with ELV using our merchant API, see Integrating using the Merchant API and more specifically, the createPaymentRequest method.
ELV Specific Notes
Due to an EU directive, you need to get the customers approval of the debit. This is referred to as a direct debit mandate. A reference of this approval is send to the customers bank. The id is a sanitized version of the order id. More information about the mandate can be found at http://www.europeanpaymentscouncil.eu/index.cfm/sepa-direct-debit/the-sdd-mandate/
